If you're thinking, "what in the world is IKEA"? You are missing out! Since I have never actually been to an IKEA store, I really shouldn't go on & on. But with as much time as I have spent pouring over their catalog and website, I could go on and on. When he was 17 in 1943, Ingvar Kamprad rode his bike around his family's farm to sell useful things to his neighbors. The farm (Elmtaryd) was located in Agunnaryd, a southern area of Sweden. Hence the name - IKEA. Today there are more then 200 IKEA stores in 30 countries.
